Job Title: Screen Printing Press Operator

Job Summary
The Screen Printing Press Operator is responsible for setting up and operating screen printing presses to produce high-quality printed products according to customer specifications and production schedules. This role requires attention to detail, technical aptitude, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate manual and/or automatic screen printing presses.
- Prepare screens, inks, and substrates for printing.
- Mix inks to match specified colors and viscosities.
- Align and register screens to ensure accurate print placement.
- Monitor print quality throughout the production run, making adjustments as needed.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment, including cleaning and troubleshooting.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards.
- Record production data, including quantities, materials used, and any issues encountered.
- Assist with other production tasks as assigned by the Screen Printing Manager.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience as a screen printing press operator preferred.
- Knowledge of screen printing techniques, inks, and materials.
- Ability to read and interpret job specifications and instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and quality control.
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
